Terms of service
Last updated 8 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you (the business using Lightspire) and Infonex Pty Ltd (ABN 93 632 080 427). By signing in you accept them. They are written to be read, not to trap anyone; if something is unclear, email us and we'll explain.
The service
Lightspire gives your business an Australian phone number answered by an AI agent that answers questions from the information you provide, takes bookings into your Lightspire calendar, and records and transcribes calls. It is available to businesses operating in Australia.
Plans, minutes and top-ups
- Plans are billed monthly in Australian dollars, in advance, through Stripe. Prices include GST.
- Each plan includes a number of minutes per billing month. A minute is counted from when a call connects to when it ends, rounded up per call. Unused plan minutes don't roll over.
- When plan minutes run out, callers hear a short message until you buy a top-up or the plan renews. Top-up minutes are used after plan minutes and don't expire while a plan is active.
- Top-ups are not refundable. Plan fees for the current month are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time and keep using the service until the end of the month you've paid for.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email. A price change applies from your next billing month.
Your number
The phone number is allocated to your business while you subscribe. When your subscription ends, the number is released after a short grace period and may be reassigned. If you need to keep a number, contact us before cancelling.
Your responsibilities
- Give the agent accurate information about your business. It answers from what you provide, and you're responsible for what it tells callers about your services, prices and availability.
- Comply with call-recording laws in your state or territory, including telling callers that calls are recorded where required.
- Keep your sign-in secure. Anyone signed in to your account can see your calls and customers.
- Don't use Lightspire for unlawful, misleading or abusive purposes, for unsolicited marketing calls, or to collect payment card details over the phone.
Not an emergency service
Lightspire is not a substitute for emergency services or for a human in an emergency. The agent tells callers to dial 000 if someone is in danger, but it cannot call emergency services itself.
Availability and limits
We aim for the service to be available at all times but can't promise it. Calls depend on phone networks and AI providers we don't control. The agent can make mistakes, including mishearing a name or a time; bookings should be confirmed with your customers as you would normally. To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
Your data
Your calls, customers and bookings are yours. We use them only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You can export your customers and bookings from the dashboard at any time.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel from your billing page at any time. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, with notice where practical. Either way, we delete your data as set out in the privacy policy.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute is heard in the courts of New South Wales.
